Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation will host a campaign school on November 30 in Jackson for members interested in running for public office. The training will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. in the MFBF Building Auditorium.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a campaign strategist, a circuit clerk, the Mississippi Ethics Commission and Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann.

“It is imperative that our members understand the importance of running for office and the implications of having farmers and ranchers in local, state and federal positions,” Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation President Mike McCormick said. “We are especially excited that Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann has agreed to speak to our members. I strongly encourage you to attend if you are interested in seeking any type of office.”

If you are interested in attending the MFBF Campaign School, RSVP to Lee Thorne at lthorne@msfb.org or (601) 977-4228 by November 23.
