Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation staff recently hosted two Mississippi farm tours for United States Congressional staff.

Adam Grubbs, Legislative Assistant to U.S. Congressman Trent Kelly, visited several farms and offices in DeSoto, Tate and Marshall counties. The tour consisted of farm visits with Tommy and Patrick Swindoll and Abbott and Ransom Myers, as well as visits to the Mississippi Land Bank and Woods Farm Supply.

Courtney Stevens, Legislative Assistant to U.S. Congressman Steven Palazzo visited Seward Farms in Lucedale and Eubanks Farm in Wiggins before meeting with area farmers over dinner.

“We truly appreciate the support Congressman Kelly and Congressman Palazzo and their staff show our farmers and ranchers across the state,” MFBF President Mike McCormick said. “Visiting with our farmers and ranchers allows them to get information directly from the source.”
