The Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation, along with Mississippi State University Extension, the United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service, Mississippi Cattlemen’s Association, Wade Incorporated and Mississippi Land Bank, will host two sessions of the 2019 North Mississippi Beef Expo. The first session will be held on October 24 in Verona, and the second session will be held on October 25 in Batesville.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the program will begin at 9 a.m.

Program speakers are Dr. Brett Rushing, who will speak on rye grass in north Mississippi; Dr. Jane Parish, who will present data from the Prairie Research Station; Kevin Thompson, who will discuss animal welfare and handling; and Dr. Bronson Stickland, who will discuss CWD and how it effects cattle producers.
