Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation President Mike McCormick was awarded the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine President’s Pegasus Award on Wednesday, October 21, by the college dean, Dr. Kent Hoblett.

McCormick received the award for his support of the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine’s legislative efforts and for securing private support for the college.

“I am very honored to have been selected as the recipient of this award,” McCormick said. “It’s important to me that our land grant universities have the funding they need to operate at a high level.”

The President’s Pegasus Award is the highest award presented by the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine.
