Leadership at the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation, Mississippi Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company and Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company recently supported six winners at the Dixie National Livestock Show & Rodeo Sale of Junior Champions for their hard work by purchasing the youth’s livestock.
“Farm Bureau is proud to support the youth that work so hard all year long to raise these animals to show at the Dixie National,” MFBF President Mike McCormick said.
The following livestock were purchased by MFBF, Mississippi Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company and Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company.
Lanie and Bryce Parker from the Jasper County 4-H were named Grand Champion in Mississippi Bred Reserve Steer division and Champion in the Mississippi Bred Heavyweight European Steer division.
Hayden Kilgore and Tripp McGee from the Newton County 4-H won Grand Champion in the Division 4 Lamb group.
Hayes Henderson from the Montgomery County 4-H won with this Champion in the Heavyweight Goat division.
Rainer and Milla Ledbetter and Russ Rodgers from Humphreys County 4-H won Reserve Champion for their Hereford Hog.
Landon and Reed Neal were named Grand Champions for their Mississippi Bred Hog and champions in the Mississippi Bred Yorkshire Hog and Yorkshire Hog divisions.
