A statement from the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation on the Mississippi Transportation Infrastructure Investment Act of 2021:

Moving commodities to market that supply food, fiber and shelter is vital for Mississippi farmers, ranchers, loggers and Mississippi Farm Bureau members.

Senate Bill 2825, agreed upon Monday night by the Senate and House Transportation chairs, Senator Jenifer Branning and Representative Charles Busby with their conferees, allows Mississippi to level the playing field for the state’s number one industry, agriculture, with our surroundings states while also creating new economic opportunities.

The Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation encourages lawmakers to support Senate Bill 2825.
