Kentucky farmers, ranchers and rural communities are working to recover from the EF4 tornado that demolished everything in a 128-mile-path on Dec. 10. The unusual December tornados are predicted to be the worst to ever hit the state based on path length and wind speed.

“We are devastated for our fellow farmers in Kentucky who suffered damage from the EF4 tornado that ripped through the state last week,” Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation President Mike McCormick said. “Please know the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation stands with you and is here to help in any way we can.”

In an effort to lend support to Kentucky’s farmers and ranchers, Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation is asking members to consider making donations to the Mississippi Farm Bureau Foundation and Relief Fund. With the combined donations, MFBF will purchase essential items needed to assist the affected county Farm Bureau members.

To contribute to this relief effort, you can mail a check or submit an online donation.

Checks should be made payable to the Mississippi Farm Bureau Foundation and Relief Fund, with a note on the memo line indicating the money is for the Kentucky Tornado Relief. They should be mailed to the following address:
