Farm Dog of the Year
The Farm Dog of the Year Contest seeks to recognize Mississippi’s farm dogs.
Deadline: July 31
Farm Woman of the Year
This award was established to recognize, encourage and reward the achievements of women in agriculture. The Farm Woman of the Year recipient should personify the highest level of professional excellence in agriculture.
Deadline: August 1
Teacher of the Year
This award seeks to recognize a teacher who promotes agriculture in their classroom. The Teacher of the Year recipient will receive an expense-paid trip to the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference and a $500 grant to use in their classroom.
Deadline: April 1
Outstanding Achievements & Recognition Award
The Mississippi Farm Bureau Women’s Outstanding Achievements and Recognition Award Program was designed to recognize county Farm Bureaus for outstanding program achievements, which involve leaders and members. The award program promotes the development of a more efficient and effective Farm Bureau Women’s Program, focusing attention on the program of work and accomplishments of the county Farm Bureau Women’s Program.
