President McCormick Visits White House as Part of AFBF Council of Presidents, Hears from Ag Secretary, EPA Administrator

State Farm Bureau presidents from across the country, including Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation President Mike McCormick and American Farm Bureau national committee chairs joined AFBF President Zippy Duvall at the White House today to hear from several Cabinet members, administration officials and senior White House staff. It was a morning filled with good discussions about Farm Bureau’s priority issues.
Issues discussed included: the farm economy, preserving family farms, USDA Disaster Assistance, trade, labor, MAHA (Make American Health Again), and regulatory reform, specifically Waters of the U.S. and ESA.
Speakers took questions from state presidents and expressed appreciation to Farm Bureau leaders for their time in Washington sharing agriculture’s story.




Farmers and Ranchers from across the country met members of the cabinet including USDA Secretary Brooks Rollins and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin discussing key issues impacting rural communities. Our nation is stronger when farmers and ranchers have the resources and tools to do what they do best: feed the nation.
