Hubbard Named 2025 Farm Woman of the Year
Dr. Sue Ann Hubbard of Jeff Davis County has been named the 2025 Farm Woman of the Year. Her involvement with Farm Bureau began through the Young Farmers & Ranchers Program, eventually leading her to serve as a Mississippi voting delegate for American Farm Bureau Federation.
A veterinarian specializing in poultry science, Hubbard plays a critical role in supporting Mississippi’s poultry industry through her consulting work with farmers and integrators. She also remains a strong advocate for policy development at the state, national, and international levels.
Her passion for agricultural education is evident in her commitment to Ag in the Classroom, where she helps students understand where their food comes from. Hubbard’s dedication to animal health, agricultural advocacy, and community engagement embodies the Farm Woman of the Year honor.
