Chism-McKinney Named 2025 FFA Advisor of the Year

Millie Chism-McKinney of Pine Grove High School has been named the 2025 FFA Advisor of the Year. A lifelong agricultural enthusiast, Chism-McKinney has quickly built a powerhouse FFA program, earning national awards and mentoring two state FFA officers in the past three years.

Her students describe her as a second mother—someone who works tirelessly to ensure their success and instill leadership skills that reach far beyond the classroom. Under her guidance, Pine Grove added a new school livestock barn, giving students real-world agricultural experience. She also serves on the Mississippi Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee and credits Farm Bureau for helping her strengthen connections and deepen her passion for agricultural education.
