This annual award recognizes one high school FFA advisor for their efforts in teaching agriculture along with their leadership. The FFA Advisor of the Year Award is a peer-nominated award in which nominees must be recommended by a fellow FFA advisor using the application at the link below. After being nominated by a fellow FFA advisor, nominees will receive an award application to be completed and judged by a panel of outside judges.
Winner Prizes
- $500 cash
- $2,000 cash to benefit their FFA chapter
- The FFA Advisor of the Year will be recognized at the Mississippi State FFA Convention in June and the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Annual Convention in December.

This annual award recognizes one Mississippi land grant university agricultural researcher for innovative, stakeholder-driven, original research aimed at serving the needs of farmers and ranchers in Mississippi. Recipients must be nominated by an active Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation stakeholder group, such as a County Farm Bureau Board of Directors or a commodity group.

- $4,500 cash to fund program support, including graduate students or research operations
- The Agricultural Research Award recipient will be recognized at the Mississippi Extension Conference in October and the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Annual Convention in December.
