The act of voting serves as one of the greatest privileges Americans are given. With this freedom comes a responsibility that should not be taken for granted. Farm Bureau urges all Mississippians to make it a priority to fulfill their civic duty during every election.
“I highly encourage you to make time to get to the polls on Election Day,” Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation President Mike McCormick says. “Exercising your right to vote allows you to have a voice, so make sure your voice is being heard this November.”
The 2023 General Election will be on Nov. 7. Mississippians must be registered to vote and must bring a form of identification to the polls in order to vote on this day.
The deadline to register to vote in the 2023 General Election is Oct. 10. You can register to vote either in person at your local Circuit Clerk’s Office, Municipal Clerk’s Office, or at a Public Service Agency (like DPS), or by mail-in registration application.
