The fall season is notorious for being a busy time on any farm in Mississippi. Between harvesting crops, working and selling cows, and preparing for the year to come, Mississippi farmers and ranchers don’t stop working. To showcase these hardworking farmers and their diverse agricultural operations, the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation hosted a farm tour for the Mississippi House Agriculture Committee in south Mississippi.

Tour stops included Rodgers Bar HR in Collins, Forest County Agricultural High School in Brooklyn, Green Forest Nursery in Perkinston, the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies in Gulfport, and the Mississippi State University Coastal Research & Extension Center in Biloxi.
