Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation honored outstanding counties from each region during the 2022 MFBF Annual Convention. These counties were selected based on their accomplishments in all program areas of Farm Bureau. Montgomery County Farm Bureau was selected from those eight counties to receive the MFBF President’s Award for the most outstanding county in the state.

In addition to the Outstanding County Awards, MFBF awarded several other counties who excelled this year. Those awards and county winners are as follows: Rising Star Award – Attala County; Excellence Awards – Lauderdale County (Public Relations and Agriculture Promotion), Tate County (Leadership Development), Jasper County (Policy Development and Advocacy); Mike Blankenship Outstanding County Safety Awards – Grenada County (North), Humphreys County (Central), Lincoln County (South); Gary Chittom Membership Awards – Tunica County (Counties with less than 1,750 members), Washington County (Counties with more than 1,750 members); J.K. Simpson Memorial Award – Jones County.
